Mociun, Doie and Fin feature fresh and strong ethical couture collections at DeviDoll for Spring/Summer 2009. The focus is on florals, fine tailoring and colour, all in organic cottons, silks and bamboo making for a beautiful, eco-conscious spring/summer season. By choosing a tightly knit collection of key pieces mixed in with chic essentials, DeviDoll is helping customers ‘curate their consumption’ whilst staying true to their individual fashion style.

The DOIE SS 2009 ‘Los Angeles’ collection – available exclusively at — features floral printed silks and organic cotton jersey in POP colours. Says DeviDoll founder Sindhu Venkatanarayanan, who personally hand-picks all her designers, ‘The Doie collection this season, is stunning and in my opinion her strongest yet – this is the first time she’s (Sara Kirsner) focused so heavily on silk and her range of stylish and very-wearable dresses, is amazing. Doie’s simple but uber stylish designs prove that you can do good by looking good with no fuss whatsoever.’ Featuring silk and bamboo jersey – breathable, anti-bacterial and soft — Sara Kirsner, founder and designer of Doie Designs, says ‘the Doie woman is stylish, sociable and comfortable in her clothes and her own skin.’

Mociun’s new collection is entitled ‘the Vast Expanse’ and showcases bold, creative prints for a thoroughly fresh look. Says Sindhu, ‘Mociun’s prints and fabrics never fail to impress and her current collection is no exception. A few of Caitlin Mociun’s much-loved styles such as her tie-front and tulip shirt dresses reappear this season but featuring new, fresh bold prints.’ There are several new dresses in the collection as well as tops and skirts.

DeviDoll’s other featured Spring offering is ‘Nasturtium’ from eco-lux Norwegian label Fin. The focus at DeviDoll is on Fin’s stunning dresses in chic colours and with sassy details. According to Sindhu, ‘DeviDoll has been an early supporter of this young but undeniably promising label which proves, more and more every season, that rigourour in ethical policy whether carbon neutrality or certified fairtrade, is no barrier to thoroughly fahsionable design.’

DeviDoll continues to proudly function as an incubator for many of its key designers including those featured in the Spring/Summer 2009 collection. It remains fully committed to making sustainable, ethical fashion a mainstream choice and combining ethically-responsible clothing choices with stunning, individual style for everybody.
